Bane Ivanovic - Much more than a regular football player - BBC team of Mitrovacka gimnazija

BBC team of Mitrovacka gimnazija came up with the idea of making a short film about Bane Ivanovic, since he represents a link between our town, Sremska Mitrovica – Bane’s hometown, and the UK, the country where he lives and works now. It was not only the link that inspired us, but also his success achieved solely through talent and hard work. In that sense Bane is a great role model for future generations.

In the video we tried to combine Serbian music (Eurosong Serbian contest song) with English ones as well as the images of our town with images from great European competitions and Bane’s photo’s with his family and friends. All the photos were used with the consent of his friends and family.
